In staying true to our values of putting our clients’ needs first, our new branch was opened specifically to cater for our customers in Rustenburg and surrounding areas. We currently hold stock there and deliver on demand.
Community Development & Employment
We have started off modestly employing 2 people from the area, however based on progress so far, we are already considering additional employment. We have committed to employing staff that reside in this area, thereby contributing to the very much needed effort to address unemployment as a result of difficult mining conditions.

Managing Director, Derek Cohen explains, “The purpose of the Rustenburg branch is to service local clients from stock held in Rustenburg, rather than transporting all the way from Wadeville. This has created significant efficiencies, reducing transport and logistic costs, simultaneously improving our service delivery.”

Besides our existing customers, we have already been approached by many other potential customers in the area who are dissatisfied with service levels of their current suppliers in Rustenburg. Perhaps the most significant factor differentiating Impala is that these companies are not manufacturers, and therefore do not have the same access to production, testing and product development facilities.
Growth to Meet Customer Needs
Our vision with the Rustenburg branch is to take time to understand the specific needs of each individual customer to guide future expansion. We are focused on customer service and ensure that we do not compromise in any way.
We are adding additional inventory and staff to the operation as and when required, being certain to remain as cost effective as possible, concentrating all our efforts on our focused product range, namely standard and specialised fasteners ranging from off the shelf mild steel XOX to high tensile galvanised products too.
