17 Oct Impala Bolt & Nut Hosts SAISC Students

Impala Bolt & Nut hosted students from the South African Institute of Steel Construction (SAISC) at our premises on 28 September 2016 to learn more about the practical aspects of fastener manufacture.

The SAISC School of Draughting offers a national diploma in structural steelwork detailing, and 22 of their students were given the opportunity to learn more about the processes of design, manufacture, testing and application of fasteners within a production environment.

The students found the applied learning approach exciting and learnt a lot about fastener manufacture during their visit. We look forward to welcoming new groups of enthusiastic students from SAISC School of Draughting to Impala Bolt & Nut in the future.
