Being involved in and supporting our local community is important to Impala Bolt & Nut. We are happy to announce that we are supporting a local Germiston school, Reiger Park Primary School, whose leadership team is implementing a strong initiative to improve the school

impala-donates-booksReiger Park Primary School Headmaster, Mr Martin Green, along with Deputy Headmaster Mr Gouwrie, are both driven to improve the school and graciously welcomed the assistance offered by Impala.

Some areas that were identified that could assist in achieving a 100% pass rate at the school were improved sports facilities, sufficient textbooks and general upgrades to class conditions, with an
immediate need for educational books and notebooks.

Impala purchased and donated educational books which were handed out by Derek Cohen, Managing Director of Impala Bolt and Nut, on the 31st of March at the term-end assembly. We also donated some workbooks with Impala branding. Derek chatted to the children and encouraged them to commit to working hard in order that they enter the world of work prepared and ready to progress.

Despite the daily challenges faced, the Reiger Park Primary School teachers are amazingly committed to the children, love their classes, and work hard to keep up a good pass rate. This dedication to educating the youth in our area has made us proud to support this school.
